Question for written answer E-003185/2023/rev.1
to the Commission
Rule 138
Tom Vandenkendelaere (PPE)
On 16 October, the Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2180 amending the current anti-dumping measures applicable to Chinese citric acid exporters since 2021 (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/607). This legislative act adds a new Chinese exporter to the list of exporters subject to anti-dumping duties. Despite these measures, Chinese exporters remain very active on the European market, squeezing out European producers.
- 1.Is the Commission investigating the effectiveness of the current anti-dumping measures?
- 2.Does the Commission intend to review the current anti-dumping duties before the current measures expire in 2026?
