  Subject: Climate change conference in Durban (COP 17)

 Answer in plenary 

What steps is the Council taking to ensure that the COP 17 Climate Change Conference in Durban brings tangible results, and in particular makes concrete progress in achieving:

– agreement on the second commitment period under the Kyoto Protocol;

– a broader comprehensive global agreement involving all parties; and

– implementation of the Cancún Agreements?
