What action is the Commission taking to ensure that the COP22 Climate Conference in Marrakesh makes significant progress to:

– advance on the key elements of the Paris Agreement, including an enhanced transparency framework, details of the global stocktake, further guidance on NDCs, and a mechanism to facilitate implementation and promote compliance;

– shape the 2018 facilitative dialogue, which will be a key opportunity to close the persistent mitigation gap given the current INDCs; and

– scale up the mobilisation of climate finance in order to achieve the joint goal of USD 100 billion per year by 2020?
