On 28 November 2018, the Commission presented its Communication entitled ‘A Clean Planet for all’. This long-term strategy for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate neutral economy sets out seven main strategic building blocks, three of which focus on energy policy and one on industry policy.
What are the actions planned by the Commission to ensure a proper follow-up to the Communication, and in particular, for the Union to adopt its mid-century long-term strategy in accordance with the Paris Agreement?
What are the actions envisaged by the Commission on energy, industry and research & innovation policies in the framework of the long-term strategy?
