An increasing number of Internet users in Europe who buy travel tickets online are complaining that European travel companies use IP tracking.

1. Is the use of IP tracking by European travel companies consistent with EC law?

2. If not, will the Commission launch an immediate inquiry?

3. If it is confirmed that European travel companies are using IP tracking, what will the Commission do to put a stop to this practice?
