Question for written answer P-004815-17
to the Council
Rule 130
Janusz Korwin-Mikke (NI)

Subject:  Glorification of the perpetrators of ethnic cleansing in Ukraine
 Answer in writing

The EU is developing ever-closing political and economic ties with Ukraine On 11 July 2017, the Council adopted an association agreement with that country. 11 July 1943 was the date when the ethnic cleansing of Poles by Ukrainian nationalists, mainly from the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists-Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN-UPA), reached its peak. What steps does the Council intend to take in respect of those members of the Ukrainian Government who now glorify the perpetrators of these massacres?
