to the Commission
Rule 138
Bartosz Arłukowicz (PPE)
Janusz Wojciechowski, the European Commissioner for Agriculture, has among his responsibilities ensuring a modern and sustainable EU agriculture sector (according to the Commission website). Despite this, Commissioner Wojciechowski has taken no action in response to the current grain crisis which is fundamentally destabilising the sector. This lack of action has had a significant impact on the circumstances of Polish farmers in particular.
Can the European Commission say:
- 1.When did Commissioner Wojciechowski become aware of the problem of the uncontrolled flow of grain coming from Ukraine?
- 2.What action has EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski taken to put the issue of transit corridors on the Commission’s agenda?
- 3.How many times has Commissioner Wojciechowski officially met Poland’s agriculture minister to discuss the functioning of the transit corridor?
