ILO Convention No 190 concerning the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work entered into force in June 2021. On 22 January 2020, the European Commission put forward a proposal for a Council decision that would enable the Member States to ratify the convention.

By 1 August 2023, only seven Member States had ratified the Convention.

What steps does the Commission intend to take to encourage Member States to ratify the convention?
