The House had been informed the previous day (Minutes of 07.03.2005, Item 4), that the Council had sent Parliament a corrigendum to the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Directives 73/239/EEC, 85/611/EEC, 91/675/EEC, 92/49/EEC and 93/6/EEC and Directives 94/19/EC, 98/78/EC, 2000/12/EC, 2001/34/EC, 2002/83/EC and 2002/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council in order to establish a new organisational structure for financial services committees (6429/1/2005 - C6-0051/2005 - 2003/0263(COD)).

In a letter dated that day, the Chairwoman of the ECON Committee had announced that the committee had voted in favour of adopting the corrigendum.

Pervenche Berès, Chairwoman of the ECON Committee, spoke.

Parliament adopted the corrigendum (P6_TA(2005)0060).

The act in question would be signed by the Presidents of Parliament and the Council.
