- Françoise Grossetête, on behalf of the PPE-DE Group, who clarified her group's position on amendment 20;

- Harlem Désir, who pointed out that the English version of amendment 29 was the authentic text;

- Klaus-Heiner Lehne, who moved an oral amendment to amendment 23, which was incorporated with the agreement of Harlem Désir.
