PROPOSAL FOR A DECISION 1

Approved as amended (P6_TA(2005)0292)

DRAFT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 1

John Bowis, on behalf of the rapporteur, asked the Commission to clarify its position on the amendments.

Louis Michel (Member of the Commission) replied that the Commission maintained the position it had stated during the debate.

Under Rule 53(2), John Bowis asked for the vote on the draft legislative resolution to be postponed.

Parliament approved the request.

The matter was thus deemed to be referred back to the committee responsible for reconsideration.

Alessandra Mussolini spoke on a point of order (the President cut her off, as her remarks did not constitute a point of order).

PROPOSAL FOR A DECISION 2

Approved as amended (P6_TA(2005)0293)

DRAFT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 2

John Bowis repeated his previous request, this time in respect of the second proposal.

Louis Michel promised to inform the College of Commissioners of Parliament's position.

Under Rule 53(2), John Bowis once again asked for the vote on the draft legislative resolution to be postponed.

Parliament approved the request.

The matter was thus deemed to be referred back to the committee responsible for reconsideration.
