The Italian authorities had given notice of the appointment of Giovanni Procacci to replace Michele Santoro as Member of Parliament with effect from 15.11.2005. The President reminded the House of the provisions of Rule 3(5). Pursuant to Article 13(3) of the Act concerning the election of the representatives of the European Parliament by direct universal suffrage, Parliament took note of the appointment. |
