The following spoke: Emine Bozkurt, who drew the attention of the House to the racist emails that had been sent to Lívia Járóka, Doris Pack, in support of Ms Bozkurt's remarks, and Charles Tannock, on the address given at the previous day's Conference of Presidents by Mr Siniora, the Prime Minister of Lebanon. Mr Tannock called for a representative of Israel to be invited to speak at a future meeting (the President stated that he would pass the comments made by all three Members on to the relevant bodies).

11. Agenda for next part-session
At its meeting of 28.09.2006, the Conference of Presidents had decided to propose the following changes to the agenda of the sittings of 11 and 12.10.2006:
- The reports by Geoffrey Van Orden and Pierre Moscovici on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania would be withdrawn from the agenda and held over until the November I part-session.
- They would be replaced by Council and Commission statements on Transnistria and South Ossetia.
