The President made a statement to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Lithuanian independence movement, Sąjūdis, which had laid the foundations for the re-establishment of Lithuania's independence. He also mentioned the Green Weeks that would be held in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg and drew attention to Parliament's undertakings to reduce CO2 emissions. |
