22. Defence of parliamentary immunity
Following Parliament's decision of 29.03.2007 to defend Giuseppe Gargani's immunity in connection with civil proceedings pending before the Rome District Court(minutes of 29.03.2007, item 8.3), the relevant Italian authorities had informed Parliament, pursuant to Rule 7(9), of the District Court's decision to declare the proceedings against Giuseppe Gargani inadmissible.
