The Committee on Budgets had considered the Commission's proposal for transfer of appropriations DEC 26/2008 (C6-0304/2008).
Having noted the Council's opinion, it had authorised the transfer in full under Article 24(3) of the Financial Regulation of 25.06.2002, as amended on 13.12.2006.
11. Order of business
The next item was the order of business.
The final draft agenda for the October I plenary sittings (PE 413.272) had been distributed. The President, with the agreement of the political groups, proposed the following amendments (Rule 132):
Sittings of 08.10.2008 and 09.10.2008
1. A debate on the situation of the global financial system would be included in the debate on the preparation of the European Council (item 3 on the final draft agenda), the title of which would be changed accordingly. The debate would be wound up with the tabling of a motion for a resolution by the ECON Committee, which would be put to the vote during the October II part-session in Strasbourg.
2. The debate on the report by Ieke van den Burg and Daniel Dăianu entitled 'Lamfalussy follow up - Future structure of supervision' (A6-0359/2008) (item 16 on the final draft agenda) would be brought forward from the agenda of the following day, Thursday 09.10.2008, to Wednesday's, and placed after the debate on the preparation of the European Council, including the situation of the global financial system.
