15. Defence of parliamentary immunity

Following European Parliament decision of 29.11.2007 (minutes of 29.11.2007, item 7.10) to defend the immunity of Renato Brunetta, former Member of the European Parliament, in connection with civil proceedings brought against him before the District Court in Milan, the Italian authorities had communicated to Parliament, under Rule 7(9), the follow-up to the procedure resulting from that decision.

That communication would be forwarded for information to the JURI Committee.
