Graham Watson, on behalf of the ALDE Group, asked about the application of Rule 80a to the reports by Holger Krahmer (A6-0046/2009) and Michael Cashman (A6-0077/2009) and requested that the vote on the first report be adjourned to the following day's voting time.

The following spoke on the request for the vote to be adjourned and on the admissibility of the amendments: Guido Sacconi, on behalf of the PSE Group, Caroline Jackson, on behalf of the PPE-DE Group, and Holger Krahmer (rapporteur).

Parliament rejected the request by electronic vote (301 in favour, 311 against, 28 abstentions).
