Before the vote, Erik Meijer (author) made some technical clarifications on the text.

During the vote, Giorgos Dimitrakopoulos, on behalf of the PPE-DE Group, requested that the second part of paragraph 12 be put to a roll-call vote (Parliament agreed to the request).

Anna Ibrisagic, on behalf of the PPE-DE Group, moved an oral amendment to Amendment 2, which was accepted.

Hannes Swoboda, on behalf of the PSE Group, withdrew Amendment 3.
