The following spoke: Martin Schulz, who first complained about the noise in the Chamber when the Commissioner had been speaking and who asked that the Bureau should consider ways of putting an end to this type of situation, and who then made a personal statement following the speech by Manfred Weber.

The following spoke: Joseph Daul, who said that Angelika Niebler had been attacked near Parliament in the late evening of 18 September 2009 and that the police still had not arrived an hour and a half after being called. He asked the President of Parliament to raise the matter with the relevant Brussels authorities.

The motions for resolutions to be tabled under Rule 110(2) would be announced in the House at a later time.
