11. Parliamentary immunity

At its meeting on 5 October 2009 the Committee on Legal Affairs decided unanimously to declare inadmissible two applications of 7 April 2009 and 24 August 2009 from the Public Prosecutor's Office in Vicenza (Italy) for a waiver of the parliamentary immunity of Roberto Fiore, former Member of the European Parliament

Parliament noted this decision and instructed its President to forward the decision to the relevant Italian authorities.
