The President referred to the exceptional presence in the Chamber of a team of technicians with a view to making a film that would form part of an exhibition on Parliament's work that was due to open in the near future at the new visitors' centre in Brussels.

9. Order of business
The next item was the order of business.
The final draft agenda for the May I sittings(PE 440.571/PDOJ) had been distributed. In agreement with the political groups, the President proposed the following changes (Rule 140):
Wednesday 5 May 2010
1. The joint debate on the two reports by Íñigo Méndez de Vigo (A7-0115/2010 and A7-0116/2010) on the composition of Parliament (items 18 and 19 on the final draft agenda) would be taken as the first item after the votes.
2. Council and Commission statements on the preparation of the Summit of Heads of State or Government of the euro area of 7 May (without resolution) would be added to the agenda as the second item after the votes, with one round of group speakers only (no 'catch-the-eye').
3. The title of the item 'Council and Commission statements on electric vehicles standardisation' would be changed to:

The President announced that, during a meeting the previous day between the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek and President-in-Office of the Council José Luis Zapatero, an agreement had been reached on the need for a deeper analysis of the decision on discharge concerning the Council.
