JOINT MOTION FOR A RESOLUTION RC-B7-0412/2010

(replacing B7-0412/2010, B7-0421/2010, B7-0426/2010 and B7-0428/2010):

tabled by the following Members:

Véronique De Keyser, Michael Cashman, Thijs Berman and Linda McAvan, on behalf of the S&D Group,

Sophia in 't Veld, Charles Goerens, Ramon Tremosa i Balcells, Leonidas Donskis and Sonia Alfano, on behalf of the ALDE Group,

Adopted (P7_TA(2010)0484)

(Motions for resolutions B7-0425/2010 and B7-0427/2010 had fallen.)

The following had spoken:

- Michael Cashman, on behalf of the S&D Group, before the vote, to request that the final vote be subject to a roll-call vote, and Francesco Enrico Speroni, on behalf of the EFD Group, against the request (The President, noting the reservations expressed by the House, had indicated that the vote would take the form of a show of hands, as provided for);

- Astrid Lulling, to point out a divergence between the French and German versions of paragraph 17 (The President had replied that all the language versions would be harmonised);

- Michael Cashman, before the vote, to ask whether the EFD Group maintained its opposition to a roll-call vote (Francesco Enrico Speroni confirmed that opposition);

- Gay Mitchell and Michael Cashman on the conduct of the vote.
