COMMISSION PROPOSAL

Rejected

During the vote, Francesco Enrico Speroni had spoken on the voting results being displayed in the Chamber.

The following had spoken after the vote: Neelie Kroes (Vice-President of the Commission), who gave the Commission's position, Alejandro Cercas, who asked for a clearer position to be provided, Véronique Mathieu (rapporteur) on the outcome of the vote, and Neelie Kroes.

Having established that the Commission would not be withdrawing its proposal, the President confirmed that the matter was referred back to committee responsible under Rule 56(3).
