The President made a statement on the start of the Polish Presidency of the Council on 1 July 2011. He then spoke about the referendum on the constitutional reform in Morocco which had been held on 1 July 2011. The President deplored the arrest of hundreds of people during peaceful demonstrations in Belarus the previous day and called for their immediate, unconditional release. |
