The next item was the order of business.

The final draft agenda for the September and I 2011 sittings (PE 470.595/PDOJ) had been distributed and a number of changes had been proposed (Rule 140):

No changes.


Request from the PPE group for the vote on the motions for resolutions tabled at the end of the debate on the situation in Libya to be brought forward to the current part-session (Point 180 of the FDA).

The following spoke: Cristian Dan Preda, on behalf of the PPE Group, making the request, Niccolò Rinaldi, on behalf of the ALDE Group, supporting the request, and Rebecca Harms, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group, opposing the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (131 in favour, 95 against, 7 abstentions).

The following deadlines were set:

motions for resolution: Tuesday, 13 September, 10.00

amendments and joint motions for resolutions: Wednesday, 14 September, 10.00

amendments to joint motions for resolutions: Wednesday, 14 September, 11.00

The vote would be held on Thursday.
