The new provisions would enter into force on 1 January 2012.

Carlo Casini (rapporteur) on the importance of the vote and to ask Giuseppe Gargani not to move the two oral amendments announced to Amendments 11 and8; Giuseppe Gargani to move his two amendments (which were not accepted because more than 40 Members opposed taking them into consideration) and the President, who thanked the AFCO Committee for their work.
