The following spoke: Guy Verhofstadt, on behalf of the ALDE Group, to ask that the vote should be held over to the next part-session, Enrique Guerrero Salom, on behalf of the S&D Group, in support of his request, and Manfred Weber, on behalf of the PPE Group, opposing the request.

Parliament rejected the request by electronic vote (269 in favour, 296 against, 12 abstentions).

The vote was thus held.
