He condemned this act of terrorism and expressed Parliament's solidarity with the US authorities. The President made the following announcement. A recommendation by the TRAN Committee not to oppose a draft implementing measure and a recommendation by the AGRI Committee not to object to a delegated act had been announced in plenary on Monday 10 September (item 12 of the Minutes of 10.9.2012). No objection had been raised within the 24-hour deadline laid down in Rule 87.
