Parliament's position of 16 April 2013 has been subject to expedited finalisation in order to ensure publication of CRR in the Official Journal by 30 June 2013 and thereby allow the new framework to be in place by 1 January 2014. The time available for finalisation has therefore been very short.

If, by 1 December 2013, Parliament considers that any of the changes introduced in the context of finalisation constitutes a substantive change to the political agreement, Parliament reserves its right to revert back to the wording of its position of 16 April 2013 by means of a further corrigendum.
