MOTION FOR A RESOLUTION

The following had spoken:

Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, on the voting instructions circulating around the Chamber, and Crescenzio Rivellini, who said that every Member should be free to vote as they pleased.

Ashley Fox, to request that the President ask the committee responsible to review the matter, under Rule 162, (the President pointed out that the President of Parliament had decided to proceed with the vote in plenary), Sergio Paolo Francesco Silvestris, Bruno Gollnisch and Elmar Brok, on the request.

Ashley Fox, on behalf of the ECR Group, to request that the matter be referred back to committee, under Rule 175(2), Martin Callanan and Hannes Swoboda, on the request.

Parliament approved the request by RCV (351 in favour, 319 against, 18 abstentions).
