Pablo Zalba Bidegain moved the following oral amendment to Amendment 5:
'15. Considers that the transfer of technology can be a vector for economic growth and foster trade; welcomes the resumption of negotiations on the expansion of the Information Technology Agreement, which increases both the range of products covered and the number of countries within its scope; strongly encourages all parties to the negotiations to continue their efforts with a view to reaching an agreement in time for the Ninth Ministerial Conference;'
