14. Council position at first reading

The President announced that, in accordance with Rule 61(1), the following position had been received from the Council, together with the reasons which had led to its adoption, and the Commission's position on:

- Position of the Council at first reading with a view to adoption of the adoption of the regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on certain procedures for applying the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Serbia, of the other part (17930/1/2013 - C7-0028/2014 - 2011/0465(COD))

The three-month period available to Parliament to adopt its position would therefore begin the following day (7 February 2014).
