14. Order of business

The next item was the order of business.

The final draft agenda for the April I 2014 sittings (PE 529.496/PDOJ) had been distributed:

Following consultations with the political groups, the President proposed the following changes to the agenda (Rule 140):

Wednesday

The joint debate on common foreign and security policy (items 47 and 48 of the final draft agenda) was postponed to Thursday morning and replaced by the debate on the report by Glenis Willmott (A7-0208/2013) on clinical trials on medicinal products for human use (item 64 of the final draft agenda), followed by the joint debate on electronic communications (items 18, 38 and 42 of the final draft agenda).

The recommendation by María Muñiz De Urquiza on the EU strategy towards Iran(item 70 of the final draft agenda) was withdrawn from the agenda. The debate on the statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy was postponed until Thursday morning after the joint debate on the common foreign and security policy. The AFET Committee would table a motion for a resolution to wind up the debate on this statement.

The following items were entered for Wednesday's voting time:

- the report by Glenis Willmott (A7-0208/2013) on clinical trials on medicinal products for human use;

- the report by Mojca Kleva Kekus (A7-0243/2014) on parent companies;

The following items were withdrawn from Wednesday's voting time:

- the two reports by Sajjad Karim (A7-0177/2013 and A7-0171/2013) on statutory audits of accounts and the report by Arnaud Danjean (A7-0138/2014) were postponed until voting time on Thursday;

- the report by Salvador Garriga Polledo on Parliament's estimates of revenue and expenditure for the financial year 2015 and the report by Daniel Caspary (A7-0454/2013) were withdrawn from the agenda.

The Oomen-Ruijten recommendation (A7-0188/2014) on enhancing worker mobility was withdrawn from the agenda and replaced by the report by Paweł Zalewski (A7-0238/2014) on reduction or elimination of customs duties on goods originating in Ukraine.

Thursday

The following items were entered on the agenda for Thursday morning:

- the joint debate on the common foreign and security policy;

- the statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union on the situation in Iran;

- the report by Christofer Fjellner (A7-0236/2014) on dual-use items.

The votes on the reports by Pilar Del Castillo Vera (A7-0190/2014) and Marita Ulvskog (A7-0365/2013) were retained on Thursday's agenda.

Parliament agreed to these changes.

The order of business was thus established.
