11. Order of business
Verbatim reports

The final draft agenda for the January II 2015 part-session (PE 547.538/PDOJ) had been distributed and the following changes had been proposed (Rule 152):

- Request by the PPE Group that the debate on the Commission statement on "Anti-terrorism measures" (2015/2530(RSP)) (item 14 of the final draft agenda) be closed with the tabling of a motion for a resolution to be voted on during the February I part-session.

The following spoke: Esteban González Pons, on behalf of the PPE Group, who explained the reasons for the request, Guy Verhofstadt, who supported the request, and Birgit Sippel, who opposed it.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (205 in favour, 140 against, 15 abstentions),

- Request by the Verts/ALE Group to include a Commission statement on the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and the attacks on Mariupol on the agenda, without the tabling of motions for resolutions, placing this before the item 'One-minute speeches on matters of political importance' and thereby extending the sitting until 21.00.

The following spoke: Rebecca Harms, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group, who explained the reasons for the request, and Cristian Dan Preda, who opposed it.

Parliament rejected the request.

The order of business was thus established.
