The final draft agenda for the April II 2015 sittings (PE 552.730/PDOJ) had been distributed.

The following spoke: Richard Corbett, on whether or not Janice Atkinson remained a member of the EFDD Group (the President said he had heard nothing in this connection) and John Stuart Agnew, on the same subject.

Monday

Tuesday

- Request from the Verts/ALE Group to enter, as the third item on the agenda for Tuesday afternoon, following the debate on the report by Monica Macovei (A8-0055/2015) and without the tabling of motions for resolutions, a debate on the Commission statement on 'Recent revelations on mass organised spying by NSA, and the implication of the Bundesnachrichtendienst, against EU citizens, politicians and companies'.

The debate on the question for oral answer on the 'Smart borders package' (item 130 on the final draft agenda) would be postponed to the May I 2015 part-session.

The following spoke: Rebecca Harms, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group, who moved the request, and Cornelia Ernst, in support of the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (187 in favour, 127 against, 9 abstentions)

- Request from the GUE/NGL Group to enter, as the last item on the agenda for Tuesday and without the tabling of motions for resolutions, a debate on the Commission statement on 'Adequate protection of whistle-blowers and journalists to fight tax evasion and tax avoidance'.

The following spoke: Fabio De Masi, on behalf of the GUE/NGL Group, who moved the request, and Philippe Lamberts, in support of the request.

Parliament agreed to the request.

Wednesday

- Request by the S&D Group to enter, as the first item on the agenda for Wednesday afternoon, a statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on the 'Situation in Burundi', without the tabling of motions for resolutions.

The following spoke: Kashetu Kyenge, on behalf of the S&D Group, who moved the request, and Philippe Lamberts, in support of the request.

Parliament agreed to the request.

- Request by the PPE Group to change the title of the statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on the killing of students in Kenya by the terror group Al-Shabaab to: 'Persecution of Christians around the world, in relation to the killing of students in Kenya by the terror group Al-Shabaab'.

The following spoke: Manfred Weber, on behalf of the PPE Group, to move the request, Kazimierz Michał Ujazdowski, in support of the request, and Enrique Guerrero Salom, against the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by roll-call vote (192 in favour, 134 against, 13 abstentions).
