Statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy: The EU's role in the Middle East peace process (2015/2685(RSP))

The President said that the S&D Group had submitted a request, announced the previous day, for the debate to be postponed, pursuant to Rule 190(1) (see minutes of 7.7.2015, item 13).

The following spoke: Victor Boştinaru, who moved the request, Cristian Dan Preda, in support of the request, and Martina Anderson, against the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (78 in favour, 44 against, 1 abstention).

The debate was therefore postponed to a subsequent part-session.
