The President made a statement on the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015 and Bamako on 20 November 2015. Parliament observed a minute's silence in homage to the victims of terrorism. The President paid tribute to the former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, who had died on 10 November 2015. |
