The President announced under Rule 64(1) that the following positions had been received from the Council, together with the reasons which had led to their adoption, and the Commission's position on:

- Position of the Council at first reading with a view to the adoption of a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) No 207/2009 on the Community trade mark and Commission Regulation (EC) No 2868/95 implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 40/94 on the Community trade mark, and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 2869/95 on the fees payable to the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs) (10373/1/2015 - C8-0351/2015 – 2013/0088(COD) - 13511/2015 - COM(2015)0589)

- Position of the Council at first reading with a view to the adoption of a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council to approximate the laws of the Member States relating to trade marks (Recast) (10374/1/2015 - C8-0352/2015 – 2013/0089(COD) - 13514/2015 - COM(2015)0588)

The three-month period available to Parliament to adopt its position would therefore begin the following day (27 November 2015).
