Statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy: Situation in Venezuela (2016/2538(RSP))

The President, on behalf of Parliament, welcomed the Sakharov Prize nominee Mitsy Capriles de Ledezma and her delegation from Venezuela, who would follow the debate on the situation in Venezuela from the distinguished visitors' gallery.

Bert Koenders (President-in-Office of the Council) made the statement on behalf of the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
