The minutes of the previous sitting were approved.

The following had spoken:

—   Luke Ming Flanagan on a situation of a personal nature in connection with his speech on 3 February 2016 (the President replied that the matter would be investigated);

—   Ioan Mircea Paşcu on the situation of freedom of expression in Romania;

—   Martina Anderson, to request the intervention of the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on behalf of a Palestinian journalist who had been in detention without charge or trial and had currently been on hunger strike for 92 days.
