5. Announcement by the President

The following spoke: Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, Marine Le Pen and Nicolas Bay on the conduct of voting time during the sitting of 28 October 2015.

The President announced, with reference to the penalty imposed on Marcel de Graaff on 17 December 2015 (minutes of 17.12.2015, item 6) for having used Marine Le Pen's voting machine during voting time at the sitting of 28 October 2015 (minutes of 28.10.2015, item 7.9), that after having heard various Members, and Nicolas Bay twice, the Presidency had decided to impose a penalty on him, pursuant to Rule 166, for his conduct at the same voting time, which is to say for having used Marine Le Pen's voting machine.

That penalty consisted of the forfeiture of his daily subsistence allowance for a period of five days. The Member concerned had been notified of the decision.


6. Extension of the term of office of the Special Committee on tax rulings and other measures similar in nature or effect (TAXE II)

The President announced that the Conference of Presidents had proposed that the term of office of the Special Committee on tax rulings and other measures similar in nature of effect (TAXE II) be extended until 2 August 2016.

Parliament approved the proposal.
