The President paid tribute to the memory of Jo Cox, the British Labour MP killed outside her campaign office in Birstall (United Kingdom) on Thursday 16 June 2016.
Parliament observed a minute's silence.
The President made a statement condemning the attack in Orlando (United States) on 12 June 2016 and the murder of a police couple in Magnanville (France) on 13 June 2016.
The President conveyed Parliament's condolences to the families of the victims and thanked all the members of the security forces engaged in protecting democracy and citizens.
