The President made a statement on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia and noted that Parliament would be voting the following day on motions for resolutions to wind up the debate on the implementation of the Council’s LGBTI Guidelines, particularly in relation to the persecution of (perceived) homosexual men in Chechnya, Russia (minutes of 16.5.2017, item 13). |
