7. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 69c)

The President announced that she had received a request for Parliament to hold a vote pursuant to Rule 69c(2) from the GUE/NGL, ALDE, EFDD and ECR Groups on the decision by the CULT Committee to enter into interinstitutional negotiations on the basis of the report on the provision of audiovisual media services in view of changing market realities (Rapporteurs: Sabine Verheyen and Petra Kammerevert) (A8-0192/2017) announced in the minutes of Monday, 15 May 2017 (minutes of 15.5.2017, item 7).

The vote on the CULT Committee's decision to enter into interinstitutional negotiations would be held on the following day, Thursday, 18 May 2017.

The President announced that she had not received any requests concerning the decisions by the INTA, ITRE, IMCO, PECH and LIBE Committees, announced in the minutes of Monday, 15 May 2017 (minutes of 15.5.2017, item 7), to enter into interinstitutional negotiations.

The INTA, ITRE, IMCO, PECH and LIBE Committee had therefore been able to start negotiations following the expiry of the deadline referred to in Rule 69c(2).
