14. Council position at first reading

The President announced that, in accordance with Rule 64(1) the following position had been received from the Council, together with the reasons which had led to its adoption, and the Commission's position on:

- Position of the Council at first reading on the adoption of a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the fight against fraud to the Union's financial interests by means of criminal law (06182/1/2017 - C8-0150/2017 - 2012/0193(COD))

referred back to committee responsible: CONT, LIBE

The three-month period available to Parliament to adopt its position would therefore begin the following day, (19 May 2017).
