The President announced that no request had been received concerning the decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations announced in the minutes of Tuesday 16 May 2017 (minutes of 16.5.2017, item 2).
The BUDG and ECON Committees had therefore been able to start the negotiations following the expiry of the deadline laid down in Rule 69c(2).

Sylvie Goulard and Marielle de Sarnez had been appointed Minister for the Armed Forces and Minister for European Affairs respectively with effect from 18 May 2017.

20. Forwarding of texts adopted during the sitting
In accordance with Rule 192(2) the minutes of that day's sitting would be submitted to Parliament for its approval at the beginning of the next sitting.
With Parliament's agreement, the texts that had been adopted would be forwarded forthwith to the bodies named therein.
21. Dates of forthcoming sittings
The next sittings would be held on 31 May 2017 and 1 June 2017.
22. Adjournment of the session
The session of the European Parliament was adjourned.
