6. Proposal for a Union act

The President announced that the following proposal for a Union act had been declared admissible by the President, in accordance with Rule 46(2):

—   Proposal for a Union act, tabled by Nicola Caputo, Eric Andrieu, Marc Tarabella, Zbigniew Kuźmiuk, Marco Zullo, José Bové and Luke Ming Flanagan, on strengthening the position of farmers in the food supply chain (B8-0303/2017).

In accordance with Rule 46(2) the proposal had been referred to the AGRI Committee as the committee responsible and to the IMCO Committee for its opinion.
