4. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (consent) (Rule 69c)

The President announced that he had not received a request from members or a political group or groups reaching at least the medium threshold regarding the decisions to launch interinstitutional negotiations set out in the minutes of Monday, 3July2017 (minutes of 3.7.2017, item 9).

The relevant committees had therefore been able to start negotiations after the expiry of the deadline set out in paragraph 2 of Rule 69(c).
