The minutes of the previous sitting were approved.

In accordance with the announcement made by the President on Monday, 3 July 2017 when the session resumed, Members who had been absent from plenary on Wednesday, 5 July 2017 because they had attended the funeral of Simone Veil in Paris would be deemed to have had a 'justified reason for their absence' (minutes of 3.7.2017, item 2).
